ขอต้อนรับเข้าสู่บทเรียนของเราในวันนี้ครับ ผมได้อ่านบทความนี้จาก หนังสือพิมพ์ THENATION ที่เกี่ยวกับเรื่องราวนวัตกรรมที่น่าสนใจจากกลุ่มนักเรียนของ King’s College International School Bangkok มานำเสนอเพื่อเป็นแรงบันดาลใจ และเป็นการศึกษาภาษาอังกฤษเบื้องต้นครับ

นักเรียนกลุ่มนี้ได้พัฒนา "Drip Drop Machine" ขึ้น ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องมือริเริ่มที่ออกแบบมาเพื่อ รวบรวมและรีไซเคิลน้ำมันทอดใช้แล้ว (Used Cooking Oil - UCO) จากร้านค้าข้างทางและชุมชนต่าง ๆ โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสนับสนุนเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนและการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน
- เครื่อง Drip Drop Machine ใช้ เซ็นเซอร์อัจฉริยะ (Smart Sensors) ในการตรวจสอบคุณภาพและประเมินมูลค่าของน้ำมัน

- น้ำมันที่ถูกรวบรวมจะถูกส่งต่อไปเพื่อการผลิต เชื้อเพลิงชีวภาพ (Biodiesel) โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง เชื้อเพลิงการบินที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Aviation Fuel - SAF) ซึ่งเป็นพลังงานสะอาดแห่งอนาคต
- โครงการนี้จึงมีส่วนช่วยในการแก้ไขปัญหา การทิ้งน้ำมันอย่างไม่ถูกต้อง ในชุมชน และสร้าง เครือข่ายใหม่สำหรับพลังงานที่สะอาดและยั่งยืน. และนำไปต่อยอดได้ด้วย
- ปัจจุบันเครื่อง Drip Drop Machine อยู่ในสถานะ ต้นแบบ (Prototype) และกำลังจะเริ่มการทดลองใช้งานจริงภายในโรงเรียน
